| Leonard Mizerek went to France, to create new paintings at the invitation of the city of Dinan, in upper Brittany. Chosen as Artist in Residence by the Musée Yvonne Jean-Haffen; Maison d’artiste de la Grande Vigne, he was given a studio cottage for a full month on the museum estate. He devoted the entire month to doing what he does best – chronicling the region’s ongoing love affair with light. The painting, "Morning Light Dinan" was made part of the museum’s permanent collection. |
